EnviCore Achieves Upscaling Milestone with Successful Pilot in Belgium

CALGARY, AB, April. 07, 2026- EnviCore, a pioneer in low-carbon construction technology, today announced the successful completion of a pilot operation at Centre Terre Et Pierre’s (CTP) scale-up facility in Belgium. In collaboration with Heidelberg Materials, one of the world's largest integrated manufacturers of heavy building materials and solutions, the pilot successfully converted construction demolition waste into high-performance Supplementary Cementitious Materials (SCMs), marking the technology's official advancement to Technology Readiness Level 7 (TRL 7).

The pilot demonstrated the efficacy of EnviCore’s proprietary process in a continuous industrial environment. To ensure the highest standards of reliability, the produced material underwent hourly QA/QC checks, confirming exceptional mineralogical consistency and reactivity. This rigorous monitoring proved that EnviCore’s technology can maintain a stable, high-quality output, a critical requirement for large-scale concrete production.
The Path to Decarbonization
As the construction industry seeks urgent solutions to reduce its carbon footprint, an industry responsible for 8% of global CO2 emissions, the ability to replace traditional clinker with recycled SCMs is a game-changer. By transforming landfill-bound rubble into a reactive cement replacement, companies can reduce the carbon intensity of binders by up to 30%, effectively closing the loop on the circular economy.
